JPL Postdoc Research Day – Poster Session

The Office of the Chief Scientist and Chief Technologist, in conjunction with the Science Division, invite you to stop by von Karman Auditorium to view posters summarizing the exciting research being conducted by JPL and IPAC postdocs in: * Astrophysics and Space Science * Earth Science * Planetary Science and Life Detection * Technology, Instrumentation, and Engineering The session doors will open at 10:30 am; Charles Elachi, JPL Director, is scheduled to give the welcome at 10:45 am. ^^Details of the Event^^ Date: Wednesday, July 25 Viewing Time: 10:30 am – 3:00 pm Awards Announced: 2:45 pm Location: von Karman Auditorium The top poster in each category will be selected by a panel of judges and announced by Dan McCleese, JPL Chief Scientist, at the close of the session, starting at 2:45 pm. Awardees will each receive an engraved plaque and briefly summarize their research at an awards ceremony planned for August 8. This is a great chance to become familiar with the cutting-edge science and technology work--the basis for our future missions--being conducted by our postdocs and their advisors.
