Workshop on Spacecraft Flight Software

JPL will host the third flight software workshop in an annual series at Caltech’s Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics. Presentations will be offered on software architectures issues and standard techniques for embedded software development in relation to spacecraft software development. Topics to be discussed include flight software engineering and testing; navigation, fault management and command sequence control autonomy; on-board communication and data processing; space network protocols; software modeling, simulation and testbeds; spacecraft software architectures; guidance and control; flight processors; planning, tasking and execution; relation to systems engineering; software verification and validation; lessons learned; and vendor product showcases. There is no fee for attending the workshop; however, attendance will be capped at 150 people.
