Chuck Manning

Chuck Manning is a process engineer at JPL’s Microdevices Laboratory (MDL) and has worked at there for over 20 years. He has been developing space microelectronics fabrication techniques and equipment for NASA specific remote and in-situ sensor applications. MDL is a state-of-the-art microelectronics fabrication facility containing over 130 individual pieces of processing equipment, including systems for UV contact and projection lithography, electron?beam lithography, materials growth and deposition, wet and dry etching, thermal processing and optical, structural, and electronic characterization. Chuck supports the tools and processes used by over 70 researchers within MDL’s 13,000 square foot clean rooms.
