AIAA San Gabirel Valley Dinner Meeting

JPL's Mike Sander will be speaking at the Sept. 17th Dinner Meeting of the AIAA San Gabriel Valley Section on "NASA's Human Spaceflight Programs and JPL"

In January 2004 the Vision for Space Exploration was announced by the White House to move humankind out of low Earth orbit and on to Mars and beyond. While the program is centered at the traditional Human Space Flight centers, all of NASA's centers are involved in accomplishing this challenging objective. Mr. Sander, manager of JPL's Exploration Systems and Technology Office, will address the content, evolution and accomplishments of the program including the findings of the Augustine committee and the Human Space Flight engagement JPL has had to date.
