Dr. Jaime Pinzon, Surveyor and photogrammetric engineer by the Engineering and Architecture School of the National Polytechnic Institute (Instituto Polytecnico Nacional – IPN), President of the Mexico Surveyor’s College for the 2017-2018 biennium and CEO of the Geosolutions in Engineering and Systems company (GISSA).  He has 27 years of experience in research, development and marketing of products and applications related to the use of mobile computing technology, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geographic information Systems (GIS).  He has participated in the execution and direction of several projects on these technologies in Mexico and in other countries, for example: “The establishment of the First Order Geodetic Network for the city of Cordoba in Argentina and the project “Georeferencing, Vectorization and digitalization of the Gas Stations” in Mexico.  He has been a speaker in some national and foreign conferences and certified instructor of companies Trimble Navigation Limited and Environmental System Research Institute (ESRI).  He is a writer on technology issues in some Latin American magazines.

Dr. Deysi Jerez has a PhD in Political and Social sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico – UNAM), with a master’s degree in social work (UNAM) and a college degree in social work from the industrial University of Santander (Colombia).  She has a research stay at the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has made presentations on topics such as climate change, social study of disasters, socio-environmental problems for important national and international academic congress. She is a member of the Climate Change Research program of the UNAM. Also, she has taken part in the international forensic disaster research workshop organized by the International Council for Science (ICSU) and the University of Florida (UF).  She is currently Director of the Risk Management Area of the Geosolutions in Engineering and Systems Company (GISSA).
