American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics honors JPLers

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics recently announced 2009 honors to Firouz Naderi, JPL’s associate director for project formulation and strategy, and John Casani, special assistant in the Office of the Director. Naderi was designated a fellow, an honor bestowed to members who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences or technology of aeronautics and astronautics. Casani was named honorary fellow, granted only to "preeminent individuals who have had long and highly contributory careers in aerospace." Presentation of the honors will take place May 13 in Washington.
