Hiroyasu Tsukamoto

Dr. Hiroyasu Tsukamoto is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Aerospace at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), a Postdoctoral Research Affiliate at the Robotics Section of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and the director of the ACXIS (Autonomous Control, Exploration, Intelligence, and Systems) Laboratory at UIUC. He is the recipient of the Vougut Fellowship and the William F. Ballhaus Prize for the Best Doctoral Dissertation in Space Engineering, GALCIT, California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He has participated in the Science-Infused Spacecraft Autonomy for Interstellar Object Exploration, the Multi-Spacecraft Technology Demonstration Project, and the Exobiology Extant Life Surveyor (EELS) Project at NASA JPL.
