JPL Briefing to Industry 2008: Focus on Partnering

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

On May 13, 2008, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) will present a day-long Briefing to Industry to apprise executives and business development managers of anticipated opportunities as JPL develops and procures technologies and systems for missions and projects. Having the right partner at the right time is critical to successful robotic space and earth exploration. Through collaboration, JPL and Industry leaders can produce world class science by discovering and developing technology together. Focus just needs to be directed at establishing strategic partnerships at the front-end of the business. Sponsored by the National Space Club West Coast Committee, the briefing will be conducted at the Hilton Hotel in Glendale, California. The theme for the briefing is "Focus on Partnering", and key Laboratory management and technical personnel will discuss (in panel format with questions from the audience) strategic plans, technology directions and needs, and business opportunities. Representatives from major subcontractors will discuss their experiences, challenges and ideas on how to enable productive partnerships with JPL. The afternoon breakout session will make JPL managers and technical personnel available for one-on-one interaction. The day will end with a hosted reception which will provide networking and additional one-on-one opportunities. Simply, its a day to get questions answered. Program details and on-line registration are available at http://www.nscwest.org/Home.html . Register now, as space is limited. And, come equipped with questions, suggestions and insight.
