Kerttu Kouki

Kerttu Kouki is a Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at JPL. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in meteorology from the University of Helsinki, and she completed her Ph.D. at the same university while working as a researcher at the Finnish Meteorological Institute. Her doctoral research focused on analyzing satellite-based time series and trends in the Northern Hemisphere snow cover during the satellite era, as well as evaluating reanalyses and climate models' ability to capture the observed changes. Currently, she is working on a project that aims to improve precipitation estimates over the Arctic by utilizing satellite data from multiple sources.
